A New Chapter for Grace Therapy: Charlotte, Marriage & What Love Has Taught Me
A New Chapter for Grace Therapy: Charlotte, Marriage & What Love Has Taught Me
By Fani Mwasiti| Grace Therapy PLLC
Life has a beautiful way of bringing us into new seasons—sometimes seasons we prayed for, prepared for, and never imagined would arrive quite the way they did.
I’m excited to share that Grace Therapy has officially moved to Charlotte, North Carolina!
This move represents more than a change of location. It marks the beginning of a new chapter personally and professionally, and I’m grateful to share this journey with the people who have supported Grace Therapy along the way.
And Then… I Got Married!
After many years of providing relationship and couples therapy, I am thrilled to say that I tied the knot myself!
It is truly a blessing to be married to the right person and to experience a marriage that is healthy, loving, intentional, and rooted in mutual care.
Working with couples over the years has taught me so much about relationships—not only professionally, but personally. I have witnessed couples navigate conflict, forgiveness, rebuilding trust, communication, boundaries, grief, transitions, and the everyday work of choosing one another.
And now, I get to experience marriage from a different perspective.
I am still learning. I am still growing. And I am incredibly grateful.
Thank You, My Clients
To my clients, especially those who have trusted me with some of the most vulnerable parts of their lives: thank you.
You have taught me patience.
You have reminded me that love requires intention.
You have shown me that healthy relationships don’t happen by accident.
And you have given me countless opportunities to witness what love is—and what love isn’t.
Every couple I have worked with has reminded me that relationships are not about perfection. They are about two people being willing to grow, communicate, repair, extend grace, and continue learning how to love one another well.
One of the many things I have learned through couples counseling is that you cannot wait until your marriage is struggling to begin investing in it.
The earliest stages of marriage are important. So are the seasons of transition—new jobs, moves, children, financial changes, family dynamics, grief, aging, and all the unexpected moments life brings.
Invest in your marriage early. Prioritize your relationship while it is growing and changing. Don’t wait for a crisis to decide that your marriage deserves attention.
Grace Therapy Is Going Virtual for the Rest of 2026
As I settle into this new season in Charlotte, Grace Therapy will be virtual-only for the remainder of 2026.
I will continue providing therapy to clients throughout the entire state of North Carolina via telehealth, allowing me to continue serving individuals and couples even as I transition into this new chapter.
And there is more to come!
In 2027, Grace Therapy plans to open a physical office in Charlotte.
I am looking forward to creating a warm, welcoming space where clients can feel safe, seen, supported, and cared for.
A New Chapter, Same Heart
Although Grace Therapy is entering a new season, the heart behind the practice remains the same.
Grace Therapy exists to provide compassionate care for the mind, body, and soul—meeting people where they are and walking alongside them through the challenges and transitions of life.
This move, this marriage, and this new season have reminded me that growth often requires us to step into the unknown with faith and trust.
So, to everyone who has supported Grace Therapy—my clients, colleagues, referral partners, friends, family, and community—thank you.
Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for your love and encouragement as I navigate this exciting new journey.
I am grateful for where Grace Therapy has been, excited for where it is going, and thankful for everyone who has been part of the journey.
Here’s to new beginnings, healthy love, growth, and grace.
Cheers to this beautiful new chapter! 🥂
With love,
