As we enter the Thanksgiving season, I want to take a moment to thank my clients for the courage, vulnerability, and commitment you’ve shown on your healing journey. It is a privilege to walk alongside you, and I am truly grateful for the trust you place in Grace Therapy.
This time of year can be joyful, emotional, busy, and everything in between — so as you move into the holiday, I want to remind you to take care of yourself gently. Whether you are spending the holidays with family, friends, or enjoying moments alone, traveling or staying at home, I hope you make space for rest in whatever form your mind and body need.
Here are different types of rest you are welcome to permit yourself to enjoy:
Physical Rest — Recharge your body. Allow yourself to slow down, nap, or breathe. Social Rest — Surround yourself with people who refill you rather than drain you. Sensory Rest — Unplug from noise, screens, and constant stimulation. Mental Rest — Give your mind a break from planning and problem-solving; quiet the racing thoughts. Emotional Rest — Feel without filtering or performing. Let your heart be honest and gentle with itself. Creative Rest — Make room for beauty, inspiration, and wonder — even in small things.
No matter how you spend this holiday season, I hope you will remember that you matter, your journey matters, and you deserve peace and nourishment — body, mind, and soul.
From my heart to yours, Happy Holidays. May this season bring warmth, comfort, connection, and rest in the ways you need it most.
We are here to serve you during the holiday. Don't hesitate to call or email our office for an appointment
With care, Fani
